89 Cooling Fan Comes on all the time
In the project of tuning the Prom. I noticed there are many aspects of the cooling system. My secondary cooling fan was never coming on, as its a A/C and 238deg back up fan. I had re-routed the signal wire from the relay to the Output of the primary. Now I get a cool running engine. But only its too cool. It Always runs, now coming to a stop with a cool engine the fans are both still running. This is extremely annoying. Not to mention could be creating Cold Run Wear on the engine. So I have No other idea why the Fans come on when I want 160+degrees before they come on. The engine never reachs that temp.
Also the Thermostat is replaced and if I unplug the fans It will rise in temp. thanks

Are you still running control thru the head temp switch? It could have failed in closed. This would keep circuit closed to the relays unless you've modified/changed the wiring. And one fan relay could stick closed but two would be an oddity.Check you PROM tuning you may have left a value unchanged/or changed to wrong settings. On this I understand how they work but not enough to tell you any further what to do.

Switch disconneted, I think the safe assumption is that the ECM is controlling the Fan. I have looked up and down the flags and the tables, I cant seem to find why the ECM requests the fan to come on. Start driving it and park the car . Open the hood and the Fan is running. yet I never had it rise above the desired Fan on Time. I think there is a Table definition problem. Maybe my $6e Table is corrupt and its adjusting the wrong areas. I suspect this because the VATS dont work either. I mean I want to enable it. and Its like perminently disabled.
