WHERE O WHERE IS THAT TEMP SENSOR?

Car: 1982 Pontiac Trans Am (Recaro)
Engine: 5.0 v8 (305 TBI)
Transmission: Auto
WHERE O WHERE IS THAT TEMP SENSOR?
as in the title am havin a tw@tin time tryin to find the temp sensor i have a ruff idea thats its on the drivers side but where on the engine is it? the only thing i can see is the exhaust manifold from the top and wires to the spark plugs from the bottom.
if anyone got any pics it would be great or should i get some specs lol how can it be this hard?

Axle/Gears: 3.08 9 bolt
CTS - Thermostat housing (For ECU)
Gauge Temp - Drivers side, between 1,3 sparkplugs. under manifold in head
Fan Switch - Passenger side, between 6,8 sparkplugs, under manifold and head
Gauge Temp - Drivers side, between 1,3 sparkplugs. under manifold in head
Fan Switch - Passenger side, between 6,8 sparkplugs, under manifold and head

Engine: LU5 305 CFI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: J65/G80/G92-3.23
Forshock has you looking in the right spots.Except if your motor is an LU5 305(CFI) the CTS will be on the passeger side front of the intake(partially hidden by the alternator).

Axle/Gears: 2.73 drum WS6
I am not sure on the carbed engines, but on my TBI there are two temp gauges. CTS located infront of the intake, and the sender for the gauge between 1-3 sparkpluggs. I think you are looking for the CTS which should be close to the waterneck on the intake.
