Which air dam?

I forget, which air dam is *supposed* to go on my car? '82 TA?

It was long gone when I bought the car.

I was going to buy a 1 piece one from classic industries, but they couldn't get it into a box to ship to Canada. Ya know, we only allow boxes under a certain size to fit through that tight border squeeze

Anyway, can I use a 3 piece one? Is it "correct" for my car, and if not, can I drill a few holes and make it fit? Or is the panel that it would bolt to non-existent, and i'd be wasting my time?

Thanks

Re: Which air dam?

Are you kidding me? Too big? I used to ship all over the world with no problems, boxes/crates up to 8' x 10'. Check out some of the vendors that help sponsor this site, I am sure you can find what you need. My Hawks catalog lists a 3 piece for your car. I have bought from them before so I know they can lick a stamp. Part # GM-5557 $100.00 + shipping.

Re: Which air dam?

If you have ground FX you need the one piece...I just went through the same situation trying to find out if I need the one peice or 3 piece. Here is a pic of the front of my car...if you dont have the front spoiler like mine you need a 3 piece.

Re: Which air dam?

I don't have a front spoiler like that one.
Excellent, i'll grab the 3 piece then, and see how it works for me.
modern day muscle wanted $40 or so for it, so i'm going for that.

Thanks
