I never did anything to the hoses coming from the firewall, there are 2 of them connecting to something that has another hose that goes to the stock tbi intake manifold. Could this be the problem? What would I have to do to take those hoses out if that is the problem? Since one of them comes straight from the hose from the radiator.
those are your hoses for your heater core. Do you need heat?
If not, there are 2 ways to bypass them. First, get a 5/8 to 3/4 connector and just connect together the 2 hoses from the firewall.
or, run a hose from the radiator to the intake manifold and toss away the other junk.
