4th gen coolant resovoir
I have heard of people putting g 4th gen coolant resovoirs into 3rd gens. My question is Has anyone done it and used the 4th gen battery tray? Any pictures or guides. I have done some searching, but haven't found one yet.
I am toying with the option as I might be redoing my coolant overflow, and my battery tray is rusted out pretty bad. I am going to cut it out, and planned to make a new one, but if I remember 4th gen trays incorporated the battery tray into the top of it (also battery hold down is always broken). Might be able to save a step and. Lean up under the hood.

It mainly requires cutting a big hole in your battery tray if you have a pass side battery.

Re: 4th gen coolant resovoir
I'm not crazy about the overflow tank in my 4thgen becasue it's harder to get to, and harder to pull out if you want to clean it. Also harder to see the level of fluid in it. On my thirdgen, I just drop that one bolt under the fender and Im ready to pull it out. Sure you want to do this?
