Do factory fans turn off on the highway?

Do factory fans turn off on the highway?
Or are they simply tied to the on-off temps on the switches we have installed?
I'm just curious if my fans are running on the highway at 70 if my temp happens to be above my "on" temp for my switch (204 degrees currently). 204 on, 195 off is what I have installed currently.

My 91 manual says for V8 vin F cars that the fan operates below 40 mph. But I think that is just the fan that operates from the ECU signal.

Well, for ECU cars, I could see that but I'm not sure if my cc Carbed 84 ECM has enough smarts to turn off my single fan or not since it doesn't otherwise control the fan that I know of outside of the fan switch turning it on and off based on the temp of the switch.

Your carbed setup is strictly limited to the temp switch... road speed doesn't matter. It's quite dumb.
In practice though, if the A/C is off, it should virtually always be off at cruise speed.
