89 GTA Trans Am not getting any heat.
Hey guys eariler this year my heat stopped blowing hot air and now its just cold. The car doesn't overheat, and I don't see it losing any antifreeze so what could be my problem? Could the heatercore be clogged? I have noticed a lot of gunk in the radiator. Should I try to flush the system and hope to its just clogged?

Check your heater control valve. Make sure the vacume line is connected. If it is then I bet the valve is stuck closed go to the parts store and purchase a new one

Lots of possibilities:
Clogged heater core.
Air lock (Heater core is high).
Pinched heater hose.
Water valve.
Thermostat.
Blend door or cable problem.

Does the temp gauge run close to the middle while going down the road?
Both heater hoses should be hot, if only one is hot the there is a restriction somewhere.
