350 tpi-JET Chip with 305 tpi prom?

I am getting ready to fire up my 86 IROC Z. The car had a carb on it, I just put the tpi unit back on. The tpi was from a 305, now I have a 350 in it. I have the ECM and Prom from the 305. I purchased a jet chip made for a 350tpi. It goes between the stock prom and the ECM. Will this work with my 305 Prom?? I have 22lb injectors and a knock sensor for a 350 also.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes it probably will work but depends on what the jet chip was programmed for with respect to injectors and such. The knock sensor may be a problem perhaps as you are using the esc filter for a 305 with a sensor for a 350 but as long as you don't get too many knock counts you should be Ok. Maybe someone else sees some problem?
