scanner question

not sure if this is the right place to post this, i recently have done a 350 tpi swap to upgrade from my old 305 tpi. it has a new written prom for the upgrades done to it. now it may seem like a stupid question, but if i put a scanner on this to see how everything is running, what do i put as the vin code? my father's matco scanner requires a vin code and year and make of vehicle. if i rememver correctly, its F for the 305, but what would it be for this application? thanks guys

Re: scanner question

It doesn't matter, the ALDL stream is the same for a 305 and a 350 when using the same ECM and code base.
