Engine: 305 5.0 TBI
Transmission: 700-R4
EGR code (a couple questions)
I'm having a check engine light come on when i drive my camaro.
I have a 1990 rs 305 TBI AUTOMATIC TRANS<<<
I am moving and i need the car to pass emissions. So that means no check engine light.
I get an EGR error code and a MAP sensor code when i pull the codes.
Codes 32 and 33!!
Occasionally my car will die, while taking a right turn at low speed.
Sometimes my RPM gauge jumps up and down...
At cold start, the car starts with the RPMS at about 500 rpms for about 5 seconds then shoots up to 1.5 rpms.
When the engine is hot, i go to start it, and the car will stutter three times then go to 1k rpms. at warm idle the car is a little above 500 rpms in drive.
In park or neutral.. the car will try to die and then barely hang in t here and stay idleing.
I am assuming i need a new ECM and possibly a PROM, seeing as how i have done a test light from the two female connector holes on the EGR solenoid sensor and i get a light.
above is a picture of my old and new egr solenoid,
Also, the egr solenoid.. which side does the EGR valve connect to? the gold/brass nozzle? or the black nozzle?????????????????????????????????
one connects to the egr and one connects to the front of the throttle body, I can't find any information of which connects to which.
I should also mention that, the engine is brand new.
Spark Plugs are brand new.
New cap and rotor.
New vaccum lines.
New Fuel Pump.
New Map Sensor
New EGR
New EGR Solenoid
New IAC
New ICM
The car starts everytime and ONLY dies while in neutral, park or deceleration.
Staying at steady speeds of high speed is when the rpm gauge goes back and forth.
It will stay at high rpm and then lower to about 1.5 with my foot off the gas.
Anything would be a huge help, I would really appreciate it.

Can anyone help with information about which end connects from the EGR solenoid to the solenoid ?
