92 tbi vs 93 tbi

This is not a 3rd Gen, but, thought I mite get a question answered. I have a 93 GMC truck equipped with a 6.2 diesel &4L60E. I am swapping in a Vortec headed 350 with LT1 cam.I am gonna use the TBI system from a 92 GMC truck equipped with 350/700R4. The ecm in my 93 only controls the 4L60E & EGR function through the TPS. The service # is the same as the ecm from a 93 350 equipped truck.Am I correct to assume that I can retain the ecm in my 93 using a PROM from a 93 350 equipped truck? The 92 ecm from the donor truck will not control the 4L60E. I'm also being told that the instrument cluster will need to be swapped. Are the 92/93 clusters interchangeable?
