EBL TT-1 where to mount and run wire through
Where are you guys typically mounting the TT-1 wide band sensor? Before the Y-pipe or after? Never-mind on this, just saw another post to install the sensor just before the catalytic converter.
It looks like a hole needs to be drilled big enough to pass the connector end through the firewall from the controller box. Where did you go through the firewall?
Can the connector be detached from the controller to pass only the wire through the firewall without having to drill a large hole?
Thanks!

You may be able to pass the connector through the shifter cable grommet. Coil up any extra cable in the interior. May also be able to have the control box under the console. Been a while since I've had it out to recall.
Push comes to shove can cut the cable about a 2 feet from the control box. Feed it through a smaller hole with a grommet. Then use a Euro style terminal strip to splice the cable back together.
Will require a 8-position strip as there are seven wires to connect back.
