Accel 7pin Large cap module

Anyone know what a large cap HEI Accel 7pin chip does to the SA Latency settings?

Re: Accel 7pin Large cap module

The only way to know is to measure it. There is a thread on the DIY_PROM board about latency and the results in testing several of the 8-pin modules:

The 3005 BIN matches AUJP, which is a small cap '90 - '92 f-body calibration.

Ok so the AUJP in the SA Latency Q's thread is the Large Vette cap? Maybe a better question is what module?

Guess I need to read more since your saying the 3005 bin is Small Cap, I'm confused why the values are larger then? Was sort of under the impression the larger the cap the larger the values should be?

Re: Accel 7pin Large cap module

AUJP is the 369 module.

The latency has nothing to do with cap size. It is due to the filtering done inside of the ICM. Which causes a lag in the signal to the ECM.
