Bpw Vs Ve's?

Bpw Vs Ve's?
Just a quick question? If I reduce my Bpw from 110 to 108 will I have to adjust my Ve tables at all?? Right now the Ve table's are spot on +-2. I think that Im going static in first gear around 5000/5200rpm and was wondering if lowering the bpw would help this?? Im using the 7747 ecm still and running 61lbs injectors at 20psi. It will start to pop at that rpm and go rich on the wbo2. Thanks for any help

All else being equal if you lower the BPC the VE will need to increase. This is because a lower BPC creates a smaller PW. So the VE needs to be increased to bring the PW back in line.
Once static there is nothing else to do but increase the injector flow rate. Either via larger injectors or more fuel pressure.

Re: Bpw Vs Ve's?
Ok that makes sense to me. Ive also been told that it might be my Ae settings. Now im currently running about 3660usec/ or msec at 80%map Ae and about 2000 at 60%map ae. Now could it be that in first gear I have to much map ae at the 80% mark that would cause the injectors to go static?? If so then I could reduce the 80%map down to like 3500usec and see what happens. Would this be the right way of thinking about it?? It is fine in second gear, and Ive been told that in second the Map ae could have expired by then do to taking a longer time to go through the RPM range?? Does this make sense? Thanks again!!!!

Re: Bpw Vs Ve's?
Well I think that I found the problem. My Async fuel vs rpm table was all messed up, it had a huge spike at about 4800/5000rpm and then levelled off after that. Other numbers were changed slightly as well but not as bad. I changed it back to the stock setting. Hopefully this will cure the problem. Somewhere or somehow the numbers got changed a few chips ago and thats when this started happening. It should be good now but I havent tested it yet.
