ALDL Cable
Guys, just a stupid question for now; I need to do some datalogging after I swapped from carb to tbi, where can I get a cheap(er) OBD1 to usb cable. cheapest I have found hurts my feelings a bit @ $60.00. Also learning to burn proms using Tunercat. Using a 7747 ECM. BTW, 83 Camaro, 355 roller, 5spd, 3.73's with locker, converted from carb to tbi. Thanks Ya'll!

Re: ALDL Cable
I know it's more than you want to spend, but I have had ZERO problems with my Moates ALDL Xtreme (ALDU1).
I have built a MAX232 based cable in the past, but then you need to add a good serial to USB converter to it, and good ones are not cheap.
I've always found that in a product like this, pay a bit more for something that has a good reputation.

Fair enough........the more I search, the more I like the moates setup. I might have to beg the wife for a little more allowance lol!
