Blue Connected to Red Error constantly flashing when trying to datalog
My setup is a 1988 IROC convertible LB9 auto with an SD conversion to a 730. I'm using TunerProRT v5 and I've been trying to datalog using a Moates APU1 which I have been able to successfully use to burn an adequate chip starting with AXXB with the following changes:

I've also been able to successfully do some emulation. I'm using 8D_SAUJP_V4a adx and xdf.
The problem is that when I connect for dataloging, the DA: Connected blue sign constantly changed to DA: Error red sign with the error count increasing. Data is momentarily when connected. I've found some threads stating some communication issues with Corvettes that seem to address this issue but none have been solved.
Any suggestions?

Increase the delay between macro execution.
The repeat time of the command is too fast and is possibly overwriting data and corrupting it.
Edit the ADX definition
Mode 1 request
Increase the pause command to 25 or 50 to start with.
Make as fast as you can before errors then back it down until you are sure no errors.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I set to 25 and worked for a minute or so, then started giving errors again. I played around with it and wound up with 30 but haven't had time to thoroughly test. I'll let you know. Thanks again.

Re: Blue Connected to Red Error constantly flashing when trying to datalog
I tried all sorts of settings from 5 to 50 all with the same results. Sometimes it connects for a bit, then starts flashing again, sometimes it won't connect at all. Most stable connection was with a setting of 35 but even that only worked sometimes.

Re: Blue Connected to Red Error constantly flashing when trying to datalog
I was never able to get this to work and I read somewhere that goimg back to TunerProRT V4 may solve the issue. Problem is I can't find an SAUJP package with an ADS instead of an ADX file.

Re: Blue Connected to Red Error constantly flashing when trying to datalog
You should be able to dig up the ADS under the Moates files at the Gearhead EFI website. I have a question about your BIN edit, it appears you are disabling MAT. Why, and what effect would this have? I have done a little editing, and have never understood exactly what MAT does. I would like to do away with the sensor if not necessary.

Re: Blue Connected to Red Error constantly flashing when trying to datalog
The MAT is used to disable EGR which I have deleted. I liked through the files and I can't find it. I'll keep looking.

I used the 7730 ADS in this file:
Index of /gearhead-efi/moates/1 Moates Fileman/4) Datastream Definitions
So if you don't use EGR you don't need MAT?

Re: Blue Connected to Red Error constantly flashing when trying to datalog
If I use the 7730 ADS, it is no longer compatible with SAUJP and therefore my bin will not work either. I could go ahead and modify my AXXF bin again but I was hoping to stick with SAUJP because the layout is great.
I'm no expert but from what I read on the forums the MAT sensor is what is used to activate EGR when it senses a certain temperature. Raising this temperature to a point that will never be reached (125.66 deg C or 258 def F) in effect deactivates the EGR since the ECM will never activate it.
