Car: 1987 IROC-Z
Engine: 355TPI
Transmission: TCI SF 700r4
Axle/Gears: Borg-Warner 3.27
Help! EBL P4 flash boosting noob
So I'm still trying to learn how to tune my car. So far it's been rather fun, but so much information to take in.
So I come to the best place for help. My brothers.
I seem to be having a problem when I'm out of boost. The car feels like it's spitting and sputtering from 2000-3000rpm and 50-80kpa on the map sensor.
Car is an 87 with a 355 tpi and an ebl p4 with 24lb/hr injectors. Trying for 6psi on an eBay turbo.

Did you do any VE Learns? Grab a data log and pore over it, with that can mostly see what is going on. How far off are the BLM values once in closed loop? Any knock taking place?

Got the data log, drive to work today was wetter than usual. Had to stop by the bank before heading in about half way through.

The fuel trims are very low, was the injector flow rate and engine displacement parameters set? If not set those first. Then run VE Learns, if you feel comfortable doing it can also manually lower the VE table.
Stay out of boost and get the VE squared away first.
