EBL - RX Streaming Data Failure
I can't read from or write to my EBL flash, I get "RX Streaming Data Failure, Flashing Failed". WhatsUp display streams engine data correctly. I have tried lowering the device Latency Timer to 2ms as per DynamicEFI's instructions, no luck. Any ideas?

Re: EBL - RX Streaming Data Failure
This is caused by the EBL not receiving commands from the laptop. Try this to confirm: key-on, engine-off and open the bank selection dialog in the WUD (ALT+D, B). On the bank selection dialog the current bank will/should be highlighted in yellow.
Do a standard left click on a different bank. That one should then be highlighted as the EBL changed banks. If no change in the active bank, that verifies that the EBL isn't receiving commands from the laptop.
Which is usually caused by a cabling issue. Verify that the data cord is a 4-wire (not 2) cable. Check the modular plugs & jacks for a piece of debris. In the DB9 connector pins 2, 3 & 5 are used. Check that they haven't been pushed back into the connector.

Re: EBL - RX Streaming Data Failure
Oops, it's definitely a 2 wire. Probably a result of me using the cable I had from my EBL classic. I will try again tonight with a 4 wire.

Re: EBL - RX Streaming Data Failure
Ah, that will do it. Also, make sure that the DB9 side of the DB9/RJ11 adapter has a terminal in those positions I mentioned (2, 3 & 5). Basically the entire top row should have a terminal/pin in each location.
The early EBL Classic adapters didn't have one of them (2 or 3, can't recall).
