The definitive 32B

Hi I've read the prom tuning guide books several times but not completely understanding the BPW Table on 32b and how to adjust other than higher is richer lower is leaner. I know what a MAP table looks linear with rpm and map. Is that what BPW is supposed to look like? I've done plenty of data logging with blm\ints and my actual pulsewidth. Which is alot lower than in the table and I know it runs really rich. I thought about just changing the table to what my pulsewidth was from data in closed loop but not sure if that's the right route to start off by? I've never seen a complete BPW Table once done only what GM has in it and it sucks. Once in closed loop ecm backs off fuel alot compared to what's in table. I changed on my idle Area to what the average was in those areas went 128/128 for a few seconds then went slowly rich again just not as bad. So seems like right direction. What is the lowest a basepulse should be? Any help is appreciated.

Re: The definitive 32B

Alright not sure if anyone will read this still but I loaded in an ARAP .bin I'm sure that's what everyone would want me to do. It seems to cold start fine but when it's warm or hot start I have to hold open the butterflies. Also I've only datalogged at idle so far but I'm lean my ints\129 blms\149. I tried raising the MAF table in the g\sec area .10 at a time to slowly get closer to target while emulating but it took 20 mins for it to change and all of a sudden both were around 130 then and the engine was trying to surge. So I changed back to stock setting and haven't had time yet. Not sure if I'm understanding the MAF tables other than how to adjust them. Mabey I'll just give it another try any advise helps.

Re: The definitive 32B

I have a question for you I am a total newbie to this running an 87 vette major major upgrade on motor . 434 cui and I am learning how to tune question one where do I get the relevant info the tune pro book you read ? And the second what's the difference between 32b and ARAP bins ?? Is the ARAP Easter to tune what do I loose I want to loose the Vats and I have to turn off a few other things I think this has a highly modifyed FI also it has 36 lb injectors and a 60 com TB the rest is ported and aftermarket . In hind sight I should have just bought an aftermarket fuel injection setup . I have the Ostrage 2 and a reader and flash device two chips and a pieromiter so I hope I can do this . Any help would be great

Re: The definitive 32B

In the DIY PROM section read the stickys up top. Check into the $6E mask and ARAP bin. I believe it will get you up and running faster just it will be lean everywhere and more likely too much SA. I imagine you have a datalogger also? It will take time But first off do plenty of reading, especially the stickys.
