No speed indication after T56 swap
Hello!
I have made a T56 swap on my Firebird -91 and now I have no speed indication. Both the speedometer and the speed indication in TunerPro are dead. I´m using code 59 in my car.
Now to the questions:
Is it possible to get any speed indication without a "magic box" between the VSS and the ECM?
If it is, is there anybody out there who knows how the settings in Code59 to get it to work?
I guess that one thing could be that the VSS is broken. Is it possible to measure it with an ordinary multimeter? I know it can be done with, for example ABS-sensors, if you know what values you are looking for.
I have searched in a couple of forums but I could not find straight answers to my questions.
*Edit* At least the speedometer is working now (but indicating way to much). The contacts on the VSS were oxidized. Will check in TP later. Ran out of battery in my laptop.

Re: No speed indication after T56 swap
*Update*
After changing the "Road Speed Sensor Constant" to 40000 the speed indication in TP seems to be somewhat correct.
The speedo is still way off. It indicates 240 km/h (i live in Sweden) when TP indicates about 15MPH. To fix this I tried to use "Road speed IP Pulse Divisor" flags. Unfortunately this flags does not affect the speedo at all.
Is there something that I´m missing here?
