Power window short.
Ok, I think I've narrowed down my elusive short. Originally, my fusable link for power to everything controlled by the ignition switch blew. I got a shop to fix the fuse, but they couldn't find out why it happened so they installed another replacable fuse to protect the fusable link. It seemed to blow every 20 minutes or so, but I finally realized that it always happens when I put my power windows up. I was able to duplicate it once, and now the left power window works only intermitently. I'm hoping this is what is causing the major short in my car(I only wish this to be the problem because atleast I would know what the problem is!). Has anyone ever heard of a power motor causing a fusable link to short and do I need to replace the whole motor or could it be the switch? The wiring seems fine to the switch. Thanks!
