Car: 1987 pontiac trans am gta
Engine: 350
Transmission: 5 speed
Axle/Gears: 3.43 posi
help me name this wire!
i am going through my car and fixing all the hack jobs through the years people have done , i have this wire (green)that comes from a loom by the a/c compressor is spliced a few times and ends up at a one wire plug in the drivers side of the block just behind the first spark plug . its all melted from manafold heat what is this for ? i will try to get a pic in a few min.

that was fast! thats why me temp gauge doesnt work. thanks ! if you look on the oil cap you can see how melted it is
