Shaved Door Handle Button

Shaved Door Handle Button
I need to rewire my shave door handle button. The original owner stuck the power wire for the solinoid into the fuse box.Litteraly the wire is stuck into one of the fuses. Also the button is on the left rear inner wheel well. The original owner ran the wire from the fuse box under the carpet, drilled a hole through the side of the car to the wheel well. Whats the best way to power the soliniod.

That is just straight up ghetto dude..... What you should do is look at a wiring diagram for a nitrous kit or something and use a relay. it is alot smarter to use one.... and if I were you, I would try hiding that button a little better than that..... like inside the fenderwell....

I was thinking to use the wiper blade arm as a contact point switch to when you pressed down on the arm the switch would close opening the door. I also plan on eventualy getting a shaved door handle kit that comes with transponders to open the door.

Hide a magnetic reed switch in one of the side-view mirrors. Trigger it with a laptop voice coil magnet on your keychain...
