Delay wiper conversion
Alright I searched this on 3 diferent forums with no luck so time to post a new thread...
My '84 Z has standard wipers on it. Today i snaped the control stick in half while getting in the car. So since I need to replace it I'd like to convert to delay wipers while I'm at it. What I'd like to know is what else besides a new control would I need? Is there something that takes the signal from the switch and controls the wiper motors? Will the motors I have now need to be swapped also? Thanks for the help guys.
p.s. IF this has been covered and I simply missed it while searching a link would be much appreciated.

Re: Delay wiper conversion
The wiper motor is the same, but the motor cover (which has the park switch and all the delay circuitry) is not.

Hey thanks for the help Apeiron, looks like it's time to take a trip to pull-a-part, after i do a little work on the wipers that is, they've been stuck on since i broke the control stick.

Re: Delay wiper conversion
just an FYI, they are kinda hard to come by and also try to see if the one you got has been tested and works....lots of us have issues with the delay and low messing up on the box
