Lighting annoyance/question
Wondering if anyone out there can help me with a little annoyance. I used to be able to just turn on my parking/running lights and run my fog lights without the headlights popping up. It's kind of my desired way of running at dusk. Now, when I just turn on my parking/running lights, the headlights pop up. They don't turn on, just pop up until I turn them on. Could this be a possible switch issue in the dash?? Thanks for any help.

2 Much Light - Not Cool
Somehow power is getting to the Headlight Door Module when it’s not supposed to.
It might be a faulty headlight switch.
Using a voltmeter or test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) probe the brown wire at the headlight switch.
Is there power there when the headlight switch is in the marker lights position?
If yes, disconnect the brown wire at the switch.
Is there still power there when the headlight switch is in the marker lights position?
If yes, replace the switch.
