Alternator Charge wire replacment
My charge cable from my alternator is looking a bit ragged. The wire is exposed for about a good inch or two before it hits the eyelet crimp and the eyelet piece is crumbling. I been looking for a replacement. Looking at this one: http://www.summitracing.com/ga/parts/pwm-1-36 but not sure if its a good replacement.
Also the other side of the wire looks like its just a pop on connector so to remove it do I just pull it off with no trick?

That's just a boot,it has eyelets at both ends, that should work fine.

That cable would work. $25 plus shipping though? So many cheaper ways to accomplish this. Cheapest would be go to Walmart and buy a battery cable, can find 4 gauge easily for usually less than ten bucks. Nappa or other local automotive stores can usually make cables too. 8 gauge is a step up but I say go with at least a 4 gauge charging and ground wire.
