Wiring harness repair.

I purchased a 1986 IROC Z a few days ago with no motor. My intention is to pull the carburated 355 out of my 86 C10 and drop it in. Unfortunately the previous owner cut most of the wire harness. He left the headlights harness alone but everything else is cut.

Here's what I have to work with. This is the two wiring sets that come out of the firewall pm the driver's side. I know the one on the left is the headlights and such. What all is run by the one on the right?

These wires come directly out of the center of the firewall. What do they run?

These two harnesses go to the ECM. I know they control the fuel injection and several sensors, but what else? Do any of my window controls and door locks tie into this harness or can I rewire the distributor and bypass this side completely?

Thanks on advance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Wiring harness repair.

Your first photo is of what's called the "C100 Connector" , you should do a search here of that and you'll see that there are at least 10 or 15 of those wires that your gonna need , even with a carb setup . The power going into the dashboard for the fusebox & such is there , the gauges , ignition coil wiring , all kinds of important stuff .

Your second photo is the HVAC harness and that , along with the two hard plastic vacuum lines that's bundled in with it , will need to be properly hooked up if you want the heat or A/C to function .

Thanks to the previous dumbass who should be banned from ever owning a set of wire cutters ever again ;

You've got your work CUT out for you !

I appreciate the prayers. Hooking the ignition and starter up won't be too much or an ordeal. I've done it with less to go on. It's making sure all my buttons work that I'm concerned with.
