Wideband losing power

I installed an Innovate MTX-L wideband before last summer. I drive the car and monitored the gauge that whole summer with no issues. This summer I removed the engine and trans fir some work, including a new exhaust system. The O2 sensor was relocated (obviously), but other than that, the wideband setup was left untouched. The wideband works now, but only up to approximately 3500 rpm WOT. It Then says E9 and shuts off, goes through the heat up process and is back on reading normally. Innovate says it is losing power. As you can see in the picture, I used an add-a-fuse kit to get key-on power to the gauge from the gauges fuse port. When I remove the add-a-fuse and probe the powered side of the fuse port, I get around 11 volts. Then when I probe the other side of the fuse port (without a fuse in it), I get 2.5 volts. I thought something wasn't right there so I unplug the gauge cluster and the 2.5 volts disappeared. Took the car out, still lost power to the gauge. I should also add that I monitored voltage at the battery from 1000 - 5500 rpm and had a stable 13.9 volts.

That is as far as I have got, anyone have any tips on where to go from here? Sure would be nice to tune my new setup!

Re: Wideband losing power

I just tapped into the power circuit for the wideband and verified that at mid - high rpm the voltage dropped to about 11 - 11.5 volts from 13 cruising and the gauge restarts.

Re: Wideband losing power

Problem solved.

connection from the battery to the starter was bad/weak. Repaired and all set.
