Constant power to A/C idle solenoid
So on my 84 Z28 LG4 with the computer removed and an edelbrock 600 installed in it, the wire going to my A/C idle solenoid is getting a constant 12V when the key is on whether the A/C is on or off. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on where to start troubleshooting? I am stumped.

Just The Cold Facts
Your car is modified therefore your best bet is to disconnect and protect from shorting to ground, the hot-side wire to the idle solenoid, then run a new wire from the solenoid to the hot-side of the A/C compressor.
Now the solenoid will only be activated when you want A/C.
