Axle/Gears: 3.08
Pulling needles from gauges

Anybody able to tell me if they all pull out or if there are tricks to removing all the needles?
I need to repaint them and don't want to break anything.

When I put stepper motors in late model GM clusters I use a fork with some masking tape on the side that contacts the gauge face, works like charm.
