Re: New cluster
I think they look absolutely awesome when turned on ...
Kinda blank & vacant looking when turned off ..
And I REALLY don't like the look of that little pushbutton right next to the volts ! To me it just looks way too aftermarket and no matter what it's function or how easily reached it needs to be , I'd have found a different less visually intrusive spot for it .

Re: New cluster
I put the the button there because it it didn't fit by the speedo and wanted it to be an easy swap between this cluster and the original and not have the button mounted somewhere on the trim. So if I chose to go back I wouldn't have a hole somewhere. It is the calibration button for the many functions this dash has for 1/4 mile times, tire size etc.

Re: New cluster
Everyone one of these I've seen pictured it doesn't show the Fasten Seat Belts, Brake, Choke, Service Engine or Check Engine, etc. lights.
Do those still work with this kit?

Re: New cluster
Mine does because I had extra gauges and removed the lenses for those lights and glued them to the cluster so all is functional. I also had am extra cluster so aside from 2 wires I added bolts to where the gauge pegs normally push into back of cluster so it's almost plug and play so I can easily go back to the original cluster if I wish

Re: New cluster
I am on the middle of a t56 swap so I haven't drove it yet...my issue now is when I removed my trans I found my engine has excessive thrust bearing play. So I'm down for a while but I do like them. I also glued the tinted lens to the cluster as well and did away with the original clear lens altogether.
