Kirban Fuel Pressure Regulator #6547 (new)
I have a brand new billet afpr by kirban which is model #6547. I bought it to replace the junky holley unit that came with my stealthram but It wouldnt clear my tall style valve covers. Works with holley/aftermarket fuel rails and standard non-tall valve covers. Comes with instructions. $105 and ill cover shipping. Last I heard these were on backorder on 6/14. pics tonight

Do you have any problems with clearance for the regulator with tall valve covers? Because I read something from someone, and they said they have a clearance issue with the regulator hitting the valve cover. I have roller rockers, so I can't lose the tall valve covers. Let me know.

Hey I know this is a really old thread but I am looking into the Kirban unit. I'm guessing it only hits tall VC's if you install it backwards, and that if you aim the adjuster screw inwards that it doesn't take up any more space than a stock reg?

The Kirban 6547 fits a Stealth Ram using tall, billet valve covers, if you orient the FPR such that the vacuum line and adjusting screw face inward. I can confirm I did this.

The fitting Holley included that was a 90 deg elbow that went from straight metric thread w/ an o ring seat to -6 fit this regulator too. Look at the previous post dates...its been a long time since I had that setup!!

Re: Kirban Fuel Pressure Regulator #6547 (new)
Yea I see it's old....been searching the forum trying to figure out what I need for fitting for this HSR fuel rail. The HSR was used and never came with the hard line the connects the front of the rails together. I'd like to use the extra braided -6an line I have but need the fittings to do so. So for this afpr I need a straight metric thread w/ an o ring seat to -6 fitting?

I found it. You need a 90 degree 14mm x 1.5 to -06AN. The 14x1.5 end should have an adjustable fitting with a nut so you can clock it. This type of fitting is what you want
http://www.discounthydraulichose.com...m?1=1&CartID=0
So you'd want
9069-06-14 9069-06-14 | 3/8" JIC Male x M14x1.5 Metric Male Adj. 90°
$11.06
$10.40
3/8" 37 deg is the same thing as -6AN
