I bought this motor from an individual that purchased it from a Chevy parts dept. The motor had been returned under warranty. The original owner bought it new and installed it in a Monte Carlo. When it was started he heard a ticking sound and took it back to Chevrolet. They gave him a new engine under warranty. The sound was traced to the distributor. Engine is complete from intake to pan minus the distributor. The intake has been removed but it still with the engine. I have a set of Felpro intake gaskets and ARP 12pt intake bolts for it. As far as I know the engine doesn't have any time on it besides when it was fired up. It might have been driven a little bit but not much. It is almost clean enuff to eat off of. All the plastic plugs are in the holes and I kept it covered with a plastic bag. I can turn the engine over by hand with the flex plate. Please email ThunderSSTruck04@aol.com for pics or more info. I'm asking $2500 for it. They sell new for $3900... You can get them on sale for $3500. If you put Fastburn heads and a Hotcam on this motor you are looking at 430 hp for the price of a new 355 hp ZZ4.

very nice motor, thats what i am running zz4 with the fast burn heads and the mutherthumper cam..pushing around 420HP..good luck.
