353 GEN 1 SBC: What's It Worth Where You Are?

I've got a .020" over 350 small block sitting in my shop.
Deciding whether or not to unload it or haul it with me across the country for a future project. This short is currently in Ontario but will be moving to Alberta soon.
Details: This was a running engine when I pulled it in favour of another shortblock. (The new short has a steel crank, Elgin rods, decked to .014")
It's got 12 000 miles/20 000 kms since it left Beatty & Woods Performance Engines in Mississauga Ontario.
1979 "010" block, 4 bolt mains.
.020" Mahle Hypereutectic pistons, flat top with 5 cc reliefs, .030" piston to deck height.
Stock rods with ARP bolts,
OEM cast crank , cut 10/10.
New oil pump.
To that I can add a TRW double roller timing chain and two cams to chose from. XR276HR (no lobe for a mechanical pump). XR288HR. No lifters. HEI distributor.
Other miscellaneous bits. Oil pan. Timing cover. No intake.
Still assembled.

Thinking $500. Looking for offers.
Also interested in opinions as to what it might be worth elsewhere.

Thanks.

Opinions? Anyone? Just out of curiosity more than anything. I know it's value to ME.

Yeah.. I understand that. I guess though that you figure it's worth the asking price.
I think it's worth that (and more) seeing that it's an assembled and proven package but $500 seems to be the going rate...
...unless there are other opinions. Which is what this thread is about.

I would have said $550. I wouldn't pay more than that, but that might just be because I'm cheap.
That said, I have over $2000 in a stroker short block, and I KNOW I would laugh at the first person to offer me $500 or even $1000!

That's the kind of feedback I was looking for. I have a lot invested in my other short block too. That said, at 500 bucks (for the short in question), there's no way anyone could build a machined package for that money, unless of course they're an automotive machinist and have access to all the parts. The again, this is now a used package so it has to sell at a discount.
