Re: S10 manual steering boxes
Hey Robert, I'll take a S10 manual box for my 82 Z.
I was reading about the astro steering shafts you have as well. My power steering is very tight and not sloppy at all at the moment, only 73k miles on the car so don't know if a astro shaft will do any good?
I will be putting in a 383 to bracket race and want to convert to a manual box to save some HP and avoid the pump and belt and all that.
So, my question is, if my stock shaft seems tight do I need to consider a solid one? Or will the stock f body shaft not be so tight feeling hooked up to a manual box?
Thanks for any explanation and I do want the box for sure.

Re: S10 manual steering boxes
Got the steering box, looks good, thanks. Though the Post Office did bust open the shipping box in transit. Luckily no small parts involved. Damn monkeys at the PO.
Positive feedback left.
Now, if I could find a 9" rear or just the housing with 3rd/4th Gen brackets.
