I was wondering what lower radiator hose did you use on your big block

I use one for a 71-72 camaro with a 402 ci BB it has to be trimmed down a little (I have a aftermarket radiator) but the bends are correct you should be able to order one from your local parts store .

ya i have the stock radiator. Hopefully it will work.

Im currently in the middle of my big block swap. I have an 88 camaro w/ the 2.8
. I have all the s*** under the hood out of my way & ready to go in with the new powerplant. I was wondering what either of you had to do to make this fit. I know about the header & distributor clearance. I just thought i do some research to help wiht the install. My main concern is the motor mounts that are on the cross member. Will they bolt up or will i have to reposition them. Any information will be greatfully appreciated.

I used a PA racing k member with a msd dizzy so i have had no clearence problems. The stock small block motor mounts will fit with no problem, you just have to use the front holes in the cross member.

All of the swaps I have done were done on stock location smallblock mounts (which I believe is the place Duke 901 is talking about) you will need to get a set of the factory cage type mounts for a V/8 and there is enough clearence for a standard HEI but you have to put it in before the cap is put on and you may have to trim or reposition the top edge of the cowl if you need more clearence , the smaller cap distributors will give you more than enough clearence and the hedder issue is one you may want to check into Patriot Hedders for a 67-81 they can be made to fit with slight mods and are a bargain at $175.00 through Summit and Jeggs I will be putting a set on my car when it gets its new engine this winter , the Hookers will work but they are expensive and still have some clearence issues I don't like the set I have now and will probably be selling them as soon as I get a set of the Patriots ..

Probably what you are going to have to do is go to your local parts store and search for a hose that has the proper sizes on each end and the bends you need to put it from the pump to the radiator there is no exact fit hose for this swap , if I remember correctly it took me a few times to find one that fit well enough to not kink or get in the way of other things and had the right ends to fit the radiator, I would start with some smallblock hoses for malibu, camaro and possibly even caprice smallblock cars and get one that looks close , or you could use a "flex" hose but they look cheep and tend to restrict flow.. an old trick I have seen work is to bend a piece of coat hanger wire to the shape close to what you need and match it up with a hose from the parts store (it helps if you go in when they are not busy and have the time to dedicate to a search) but as far as a part # for an exact fit one I don't think you'll find one ...
