v6 to 350 swap sensor help

v6 to 350 swap sensor help

i just swapped from a 2.8 v6 to a 96 l31 350 and i need help with the sensors, i cant find where my oil pressure sensors go for the gauge and the safety switch. help? the sensors themselfs are too small to fit into the hole above my oil filter like my old v6, where in the hell do these sensors go?

Right behind the intake manifold, at the top center of the engine.

You should be able to just get a single one that has both in it from a newer car.

Or you run a short male pipe up to a T then put each sensor in it.

where can I get the t? I have two new sensors I want to use

Usually auto parts stores will have a small selection of brass fittings, 1/8NPT is what you need, also home depot, lowes, etc have them.

If they are "too small " then one is sure to fit in the 1/8" NPT hole in the block under the dist
but depending on the style of sender you have ,you may need a extension piece or right angle adapter
so sender clears the intake manifold .
Some of the factory OEM senders have longer " noses " to extend them out from obstructions

The other " too small " one will fit in the hole above the filter with a 1/4" to 1/8" NPT reducer
