305 TPI to 383 Swap

I read some other threads but could not find exactly what i was looking for. I have an 85 Z28 with a 305 TPI, 700R4 trans. I am looking to drop in a blueprint 383 crate motor from summit. I am going to keep it fuel injected and need to know what i need to do to keep it fuel injected and have the TPi work. What size injectors you guys used? type of throttle body used? Manifold used? I cannot afford these ram jet kits and stuff. i need to get it to work as cheap but right as i can. Do i need a new chip? whats involved in the tuning the new motor will need? do i need new flex plate? I am trying to put a parts list together so i can get everything i need and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 305 TPI to 383 Swap

I wouldn't use the 85, 1226870 upgrade to the 1227165. The baud rate , code of the 870 ECM isn't that great. For a 430 hp engine you will need 32#hr or could use 36#hr injectors.A Hsr or knock off on eBay would allow the 383 to breath fairly well.

Use your stock max and have your ecm tuned. You will need to buy some equipment like a Aldo to USB cable and use tunerpro rt or tts data master to capture data.

Capture data to send to someone to mail order tune it?....or is there a way to tune it myself. I have TTS and also TunerCat for LT1 I used to have. I'm new to TGO as you can tell.
