BBC Swap
I figured I would post this to help if someone is doing a BBC swap and having problems with fitment because of brake booster. On my car I could not get the drivers side valve cover off because of the brake booster, So here is what I did to solve the problem.
I bought a MBM 8" dual diaphragm brake booster with a Wilwood 1" tandem master cylinder. We cut the old bracket off the factory brake booster and used that to mount the new brake booster, it puts it at the proper angle to clear the strut mount. It now gives me a couple of inches of room now so I can clear valve cover

Re: BBC Swap
Nice! Thanks for the info. Been starting on a 454 swap into my 89 GTA. I see your engine is much larger though. Will the 454 still have issues with the stock brake booster and master cylinder?

Re: BBC Swap
My engine shares the same dimensions as your 454, but if you are using stock valve cover with a hydraulic cam you should not have a problem.
