If you don't mind, I'm going to make this a sticky. Our existing BBC swap sticky has a bunch of problems, and if you're willing to post more info and answer questions, that would be a big help.

What oil pan did you use,, did you use short water pump,,, what distributer did you use,,, small cap type etc,, did the radiator have to be moved forward,, we cant run open headers on the street,,, has anyone ran a duel exhaust system on these cars,,i currently run full length headers and a full single 3 inch exhaust and had to cut and brace up the floor/frame brace on left side to get the pipe same both sides..
the big block zz454 is cheap out of the box,,is it worth the hassle of it all.

Just a quick question before I swap the motor. I have most everything I need for the swap but realized I forgot to get the power steering pump and was curious if anyone had been able to use their 305 power steering. Now this won’t be a permanent thing just something to get me by until I can afford a better pump.

Its the same pump, just get the pulleys lining up and use a quality sreaight edge like a long ruller or piece of square tube like scrap iron 1/2 inch tube

What kind of headers are a good fit for a 454 BBC swap on a 3rd gen Camaro?

Can we have a Page Just for the Big Block swaps..as there is alot of new parts on the market. and a lot of Guys are doing the BBC Swaps. with a price from budget. to over the top. and what parts to stay away from to whats a must have.. there are so many bolt on parts. on the market now. it would help alot of guys out on what works.

Getting ready to put a 632 tall deck BBC in my 86 Camaro and was wondering if anyone has used RaceCraft K-members? Headers I will be using are 2-3/8 into a 4 inch collector, which is gonna be tight. Has anyone already done this and if so what lessons learned do you have for me as I plan on doing it myself.
