your opinions !!
I currently have a 3" flowmaster exhaust on my 85 IROC with a 350 and headers no cat, but call me crazy I dont like the sound, I went for a road test in a new 2002 Camaro SS with the six speed a few months ago, the exhaust sounded great, the exhaust I have now doesnt have the interior resonance that I like, I want to be def, I want to here the exhaust on the inside of my car, my car now is loud outside, but It doesnt have the loud inside qualities I like. What type of muffler is on the SS? is there any mufflers that I can buy that sound like this? Help me out guys I've changed my exhaust 3 times in the last 2 years just searching for the right sound. Its getting to cost a little much.

Some of the new SSs have the slp exhaust. My Friends got one on his 2000, but I didn't think it was that loud. Certainly not as loud as my 80 series. Did the exhaust have 2 tips on each side or just 1? 1 on each side would be the stock exhaust which is even quieter.

I currently have the flowmaster 3 chamber, I was thinking of going with that new slp loudmouth setup, but I dont want to hear "popping" when its reved up, im not sure if it sounds that way, my cherry bombs that I had with a true dual setup did and I didn't like that. it was too LOUD. I need to find somthing in the middle. The SS camaro I was in had the dual center exhaust with the welded muffler, I guess I forgot to mention it was an SLP SS Camaro. As for the 350 im running its had a bit of werk with boring .30 thou and fitted with oversized bearings built bottom end 4 bolt mains w/arp bolts, heads are gms vortec, and a comp cam 512 lift, w/tpi setup on the way for this winter, the person I bought the car from had changed the motor to carb so a holley sits up top right now. The 350 is from a 72 corvette. Theres more to list but thats for the engine tech forum. Thanks for all your input on the exhaust tech.
