RED82TA5.7L - Please Read

I have read that you have the Hooker Aerchamber 3 inch cat-back on your car. How is the interior sound at certain RPMs? Also, at idle/cruising, does it have a low bass tone to it, or is it loud and throaty? Also, do you have a cat? ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

yes i have a cat. it is a little quiet at idle(but you can still hear it) but that is good for when you want to sneek up on ricers. it gets loud and thouty(not too loud) at 2000 rpms. then it gets the loudest(the perfect sound) at 3000rpms. and then it gets quiet a 4000rpms, but maybe thats because i lose power at 4000rpms. and when i have my windows closed i cant really hear it that much. but you can still tell you have a muscle car sound. i think it is the perfect sound for our cars. i love it and i totally recommend it. oh. and on the freeway i cruse at 3000rpms(stupid 3-speed) and i cant hear it too much. at 45 i cruse around 2000rpms and i can hear it just enough to now you have a muscle car. i think it sounds way better then flowmasters(ive never had flowmaster but i ve heard it on other 3rd gens) hope this helps

One last thing, does it provide a deep sound, or is it high pitched? Also, will I be able to hear my stereo system without turning it up real loud? Thanks.
