UPDATE: (Cutout Video Added) Muffler Delete Video

Nothing too special, I pulled my muffler off the car to see how that sounded and I was surprised it didn't sound like an old truck with holes throughout the exhaust LOL..

I just put an order in for a qtp electric cutout from summit so I thought I'd see how the extra volume would be. The exhaust is a magnaflow 16829 cat-back, stock dual-cat's stock exhaust manifolds/y-pipe.

Enjoy the loud! haha.

edit: would probably help to put the url in lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRYMEHvHvS0

double edit: here's the cutout video, the link is also in the last post of this thread.

Right? I honestly expected it to sound like garbage lol. I love my magnaflow as well but sometimes I find myself wishing I had a bit more volume so I think they cutout should go quite nicely..any suggestions of where I should put the switch?

Love the car and sounded good. Did you swap in the 350?

My old 92 RS with an L03 with no muffler sounded like pop even on throttle.

Nahh the car is a B4C packaged RS with the L98, its a special equipped car. Yeah the sound of this motor is reeeeeeally throaty without the muffler on it lol.

UPDATE: (Cutout Video added) Muffler Delete Video

Got my cutout installed yesterday over at a buddy of mines shop called D&M Autosalon out in Livermore, CA. Everything seems to work just fine and I'm very happy with what I have now.

So here's the video! Goes from magnaflow, to qtp cutout, to magnaflow..enjoy!

Not a fan of the magnaflow catbacks. they sound to quite on our cars, i do like the cutout it definitely made a difference though. Looks like a nice setup.

I hear ya, I love my magnaflow..its quiet beneath 3k rpms but becomes quite vocal anywhere above that. But I wanted some more volume all the way around so I got the cutout. Works out nice when I see a cop, can switch to the tame magnaflow sound!
