Anybody running a flowmaster super 10?
I heard the super 10 the other day and fell in love. It's pretty aggressive and doesn't sound all raspy like an SLP. Anybody running them on a third gen?
Ideally I'd like to run a set of long tubes to straight pipes into super 10's dumped before the rear axle.
Any advice is recommended.

What do you have under the hood? My experience with them has been that they sound a little tinny and raspy unless they're behind a motor that puts out decent power.

I have a set of older super 10's with an oval exhaust dumped before the rear end. They sound nasty as hell and are small enough you can set the car fairly low to the ground without to much Clarence issue. Il see if I can find a video clip of the exhaust, we used it on my buddy's pump gas 540 during brake in on an engine stand.

Re: Anybody running a flowmaster super 10?
I had a knock off of a super 10 that I got off of ebay on my 4.0 Wrangler. It had the deep, rattle your bones tone that I was looking for, but had an ear splitting moan inside the Jeep at a certain rpm range, so I either had to drive over or under that range or my ears would be ringing after the drive. Granted the Jeep had no carpet or sound deadening material whatsoever.
That said. They are a great sounding exhaust in my opinion. If you could accomplish installing these on an SBC without that horrid rattle that most SBC's have off throttle, I would install them in a heartbeat. I can deal with the drone, it's that rattle that I want to avoid.

Re: Anybody running a flowmaster super 10?
I have duals ran out the back both 2.5 in pipes and crossed with H pipe, They sound great but on lower compression motors it sounded to much like a truck for me. I rebuilt my motor with 9.8 cr, vortec heads and xe274 cam and now its sounds wicked. I drive it daily, its got a good deep tone at 1500-2200, once you open it up your setting off car alarms. Get a good sound system if you plan to hit highways

i have a single 3" on my 95 Sierra, headers, no cat. it sounds good at idle and rattles the cab when you're driving. it was installed by the previous owner, it will go bye-bye this winter when i get some time to redo the whole exhaust.

I ran the super 10s on a vortec pickup i had for a while. Absolutely loved them. They are going on my 3rd gen when my exhaust gets re-done.
