header with ground clearance
Hey guys, I am building a track day/ road race car and am looking for a long tube header that won't hang down past the factory front sub frame that runs along side the transmission. Engine is 383 stroker that dyno'd at 455hp so could use a 1 3/4 primary. Most that I have looked at seem to hang below the frame rails by an inch or so. I have moved the frame rails outward and fabbed a double hunp crossmember so there is room to run the exhaust along side the trans.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Tightest long tube I've seen are the Hawks.
I've had them and super comps the hawks fit and install much easier

These are my dougs d3321 headers. I had the hedman longtubes in there before, but these ones seem to fit better but they do hang just a little lower than the hedmans. Those are the only 2 i have messed with
