Trouble with shorty headers and stroker oil pan
So, I'm really not seeing a way possible for the exhaust shop to be able to make a y-pipe for me. Has anyone ran in to this problem and if so what was your end result. Has anyone used shorty headers with stroker pan. Need help so close to being done and now this.

Silly question, but is that one the correct one for that side? it looks like it might be better suited on the passengers side.....

Re: Trouble with shorty headers and stroker oil pan
It's the correct one. Normally the Y pipe runs in front of the sump but that pan is like the moroso pan. Either you end up with a clumsy restrictive bend or you can do one of 2 things. One is buy new headers the other is cutting the crossmember and welding in a section of large diameter tube. This so you get a curved in clearance for the front if the Y pipe to lay in flat.
Here's the same issue. Oirked but not well. Chinese stainless longtubes fixed this.

Could you cut the collector off and angle it a bit more forward?%;
