I'm cleaning out the garage after going to the dark side (ford mustang, but it's a saleen) I have a rear spoiler for a 1991-1992 formula, transam, or GTA. I think it fits other years too, but I'm not sure. It's brand new, never been installed, but has been hanging around for 10 years or so. The first picture is of the spoiler on a car and is a file photo, this one has never been mounted. The other two photos are of the actual spoiler. It's pretty enough my wife even allowed it in the living room, no small feat. There is only the spoiler, no hardware, third brake light or anything else, only the spoiler. It's probably not cheap to ship, so please remember to figure that into the equation. I live in Front Royal, VA 22630. About 60 miles West of Washington DC, I'm willing to discuss options for shipping, so let's talk. I'm asking $300/OBO.

The USPS is telling me that the package 60"W x 12"H x 48"L is too large to be mailed. It's roughly 40 pounds, and the packaging required to ship is probably another 10, so call it a 50 pound package. I'm not sure who else could do it, you're welcome to check into and let me know what you prefer.

UPS can.. and i trust them a lot.... last month i had a hood shipped from NJ with no problems!

OK, well the cost to ship to PR zip 00725 via UPS airfreight is $1,178. I don't really think that's worth it. If you can suggest an alternate method I'm all ears. What did it cost you to send a hood from NJ, this is about the same size and weight?

i got a shipping quote (of $225 iirc) from hawks for their fiberglass version which is heavier than the oem one.

Knight72, I'm not having any luck getting a reasonable cost to ship the spoiler to Puerto Rico. I've shipped lots of smaller items across the Atlantic, but something this big is showing up as expensive. If you want to make arrangements with a company for shipping I can package it up and drop it off. Let me know what you think.

I hate to throw this spoiler in the trash, but I'm getting older and I know I'll never use it. Right now it's just taking up space. Does anyone want to make an offer? It's brand new and never been on a car, you can eve see my dining room chairs in the reflection. Let me know.

I'm the one who shipped the hood from NJ. I built a wooden crate out of home depot supplies and wrapped the edges in pipe insulation. once you have a rough estimate of the boxed dimensions weight wont matter cause its going freight anyway.
