FS: Fikse Mag 18" wheels
I bought these parts to make a second set of wheels for my Trans Am, but I need to finish up the rebuild on my motor so these are a lower priority.
The specs are:
18x12 et19 4.5" lips
18x12 et35 (after 9mm spacer) 3.5" lips
The centers are polished, I was going to plasti dip the centers for contrast, I've done one so you can see what it looks like:
$1600 OBO
Best way to get ahold of me is (my screen name here)@gmail.com or call/text at 785-230-9516.
You may need a spacer up front depending on your brake package. I ended up having to cut the fender/gfx at the front and back of the fender. I ended up pushing the fender out on the mounts as far as I could, and did a limited pull/aggressive roll on the front fenders. With 3 or degrees of camber it should clear. Not a street friendly setup, but for racing it works.
In back, minitub for best results:

I wanted them tucked in to limit track width and in CP I can legally minitub up to the frame well. If you wanted you could run some 3/4 or 1" spacers and have them stick out a little.

TTT, I'm willing to come down a bit to see these end up on another thirdgen.

Gene,
They're about 22.5lbs each. Pretty good considering 18x10.5 speedlines are 21lbs.
Are you running reals on your car? I wouldn't be surprised if the real slicks on 16" reals are 15+ lbs lighter each. The 17" CCW's I finished will go towards finishing the motor and paint. If I sell these I'd probably put that money towards 16" wheels for big events only.

Re: FS: Fikse Mag 18" wheels
Ryan,
I keep going back and forth on these. 18" would get me about another almost 2" inboard on the front, which means I could probably go with 18X12 front and rear. The only problem is I'd have to run A6's, or Continental roadrace slicks, which are a bit slower than Hoosier R35s.
I know Madarash was 'in the CP trophies' running 18's on his T/A in ESP, so I figured I could possibly get there. He says that ultimate grip is much better with the slicks, though, which he's running now in CP.
I'm starting the year with the Hoosier Radial slicks, so I'll probably see how they work. It's primarily because Hoosier is ceasing production of the bias plys I have been running, but also, it appears I can get another 1/2" of tire on the ground on the front without having to replace the wheel, which I don't want to do until the new front end work is complete.
I'm also hoping to get new spindles and brakes on the front this year, which may allow at least another 1-1-1/4" inboard, especially if I trim the coil over tab off the strut tubes.
Decisions, decisions....
