Re: Parting out 1984 camaro Z28
Yes I have it. All of the wiring I seen is in good shape. I noticed 2 splices and 1 broke wire when I pulled the engine out. Have not pulled the looms off.
Which harness are you referring too. It's my understanding that there is 3 harness under the hood. 1 for the ECM, 1 for the engine and 1 for the headlights and all.
By "engine harness" I take it as the engine harness and ECM harness with out the ECM
If so how does $125 shipped sound

How's the lower chin spoiler, any damage besides the missing paint? I'd also be interested in the drivers side lower ground effect in good shape.
Edit: Are the fog lights in tact? Need those too.

I would like to know if the passenger side door and drivers did fender and nose are available. Also I know you mentioned you can't ship heavy items so I would like to know what state the car is located in. I am in central nj and am willing to travel a reasonable distance.
Thanks in advance.

Yes all of those parts are still available, but I'm in Georgia so quite a ways from you.

Re: Parting out 1984 camaro Z28
Your welcome, Sorry I wasn't able to help you out. I will make you an offer. I don't want to deal with shipping/boxing, etc but if YOU wanted to set up and pay a crate/freight company. I would be willing to pull the parts and hand them over to the shipping company for them to package and ship. I did this once a long time ago with a man in Norway on some corvette parts he bought from me through Ebay. IIRC we used craters and freighters out of Atlanta, GA.
If you are interested in that, just PM me and we can talk prices and parts needed.

Re: Parting out 1984 camaro Z28
I appreciate the offer and the info. I just don't know if it would be worth it. I'm sure it would be costly to ship just because of the size and weight. I would be looking for a door,a fender, the nose and possibly the flow master exhaust. The weight of this items I'm sure would make it very costly.

center console lid ? From what I can see the leather looks to be in good shape but how about the release/ lock button and plastic underneath ?
If you can send pictures to my email, that would be awesome.

Re: Parting out 1984 camaro Z28
Console lid has been sold already.
I have another one from another camaro but in poor cond. The vinyl on top looks good, button is good but plastic under bottom is all busted up.

Re: Parting out 1984 camaro Z28
Sure thing I can get you all the screws and bolts you need. You gave me a pretty good list already. Let me know if there is anymore you need. Also shoot me a PM with a price that you have in mind. Like I said I can pretty much get you every bolt on the car.
Shipping wise I think USPS flat rate box would be the best/cheapest being bolts/screws can add up to a lot of weight fast, and up to 70 lbs ships for one rate if it fits in the box

Re: Parting out 1984 camaro Z28
Looking for a 82-84 z28 Driver's side (LH) quarter panel ground effects trim piece (The little one back by the rear bumper). Looking for a nice one with the tabs intact.
Do you have one? Condition? Price shipped to Point Roberts (98281) please...
Also would be interested in a "frequent customer" discount
And just to be fair to you, I'm looking local too... So don't pull it (if you haven't already) Thanks

Re: Parting out 1984 camaro Z28
LOL, I like that "frequent customer" discount. I do have one and looking from the outside of the car it looks great but I have not looked under the bottom or removed it yet.
I will be at the point of removing it in a day or two, and can let you know then. I'm trying to price my parts at about 1/2 of what hawks charges. He wants $75 for that piece... Being you are a good "frequent customer" how does $25 plus shipping sound, if it is good?

Re: Parting out 1984 camaro Z28
$80 for pair door panels (w/o any trim or plastic top rails)
$20 for pair hatch struts
$200 for exhaust system
I can't ship the exhaust system, but if you are local, you are more than welcome to come by and check it out and pick it up.

Re: Parting out 1984 camaro Z28
I get $35 each for the door panel top rails, and $10 each for the plastic trim panel around door panel, lock, arm rest mount.
If you are interested in the exhaust system, door panels, rails, trims, and hatch strut, I could work out a slight deal with you on all of those items... Of course pickup only.
I will check on the shipping for the panels and struts.

Re: Parting out 1984 camaro Z28
I am looking for the piece that I circled...
also looking for the one under the car (front bumper to the radiator mount base)... I'm guessing it's probably the air dam deflector...
Oh, and I'm also looking for the screws that keep the rear panels in place in the rear... Missing a couple on my z.
How much to 62644?

Let me check on those parts for you. I know I have the plastic tray thing you have circled, I should have an air dam as well, and I think I have those rear panel screws

Re: Parting out 1984 camaro Z28
Door panels $80
Top rails $70
Total $215 shipped
Sorry, I do not have any good headliners.
BTW... I wanted to point out, these are not true "Black" door panels. They are more dark charcoal from the way my eyes sees them.
