I replaced the old spoiler since it was crumbling and I never replaced the

decals but it has it's code sheet and door tag attesting to it's WS6

formula 350 status...

can't believe with ads here and Craigslist and willing to make a really nice

deal on a car of this quality, I haven't had a single person come to see it...

a few emails with ridiculous, idiotic low ball offers but not a single real

person with a single real offer has showed up..

Well, almost 7 weeks this car has been up for sale and STILL not a single person has come to look at it...

WTH?

Nothing but a few emails from people who have never even seen this car trying to get it for a half of a song...or people saying' wow I'll be by to see it'...and waste my time by never showing up...

Your not the only one. I'm from Jacksonville with almost the same car.You may have to wait till tax season but you are asking a fair price.

If your car is as nice as you claim, you need to list it on Auto trader, Ebay, etc. Someone looking for a car will travel to pick it up, but you have to get the car in front of real buyers in the largest numbers possible. You are asking, in my opinion, give away money for the car already. There are real buyers on this forum, too, but there are lots of folks who are not going to buy anything , too. I travelled 9 hours one way to Atlanta to pick up my Z28 two years ago, because it was a great car for a reasonable price, and ACURATELY described by the owner.

I appreciate your input...however this car is listed in numerous places...not ebay tho as I've had some really bad experiences there...

I am 3rd owner and have babied this car..it is very nice as a survivor...
no leaks no rust no body damage,all gauges working and runs like it's tail is on fire...paint job could be better but body is laser straight...

I won't give it away but I find it ridiculous that people say they're coming and no show, as well as people who have never even seen it acting as if I've gut shot them by turning down some idiotic lowball email offer that's not even worth considering...

I recently traded for a more expensive classic than my Firebird and it had to take the spot in the garage...if I had a two car garage at this point I'd just say heck with it and keep it indefinitely...I just hate it being outside in the weather and it's not getting used as much as it should...I'm sev miles inland from the beach so no salt exposure at least

The whole venture has been quite disappointing...guess there's not as many 3rd gen enthusiasts out there as I thought..

I'm gonna take it out for a while tomm and just enjoy it some...

Build a bigger garage. Lotsa nice clean cars in the south. Try listing it in a northern paper/ad. I'm in NY but got my car outa CT. A serious buyer will travel. Still too nice a ride to part with IMO

It's a nice car at a good price. There will be that special someone who will come along looking for an original ws6 Formula 350, these cars are getting harder and harder to find. 10 years from now the car may be worth 3 to 4 times your price in the same condition so don't be discouraged.

I'd love to have it, but am eyeball deep in my 88 iroc build right now. I wish I had started with as good as car as you have.

Good luck with the sale, and don't give it away. That'll be a semi-rare piece in original condition someday.

yes...still have it...a lot of my ads have expired and haven't been pushing the sale nearly as much...after two months with ads without a single person actually showing up to look at it, I just started driving it more and enjoying it myself.

I thought there were a lot more 3rd gen Bird lovers than there actually are I guess...

Don't get discouraged. That is a great looking car. Wish it was a manual for me though. Is that the correct spoiler for the car? I thought they were different. Does it need tires? How's the ac, lights, horn, gauges and such? Three big events coming up. Perry , GA swap meet, Moultrie, Ga swap meet and the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona. All great avenues to sell. If I don't find something before I may just hit you up on my way to Daytona.

irt questions....replaced the spoiler cuz the old wraparound was in really bad shape...I always liked the wings better anyway and at the time couldn't see 500 bucks for a new wraparound...A guy named John in Green Cove Springs I met here on 3rd gen.org had it for like30-35 bucks or so...he's a great guy and had a ton of 3rd gen stuff..prolly still does far as I Know...car's lights gauges ect all good,,,a/c needs a charge..pwr mirrors,door locks work too...newr window motors..kid did tell me he noticed a back up light bulb on pass side needs replaced...gotta get a few minutes and do that...

no droop in the doors whatsoever...nice seals...

hatch pull down mech and remote rear hatch open button, both working...

dash is mint and whole car is 99.9 rust free...front tires have a while...rear a bit less but no dry rot...front end is tight as a stretched rubber band...

eng sounds and runs really good...

drove it out US1 to the south end of the county to one of the Florida early voting sites just yesterday...did my civic duty to clean house... :-)

anyway...

looking forward to Turkey Run in Daytona as well...almost always go down for one day at least...they have huge amounts of awesome stuff but seems like prices are pretty high a lot of the time...

Ive had a few 3rd gens, 87 v6 bird, 87 gta 350, 2- 92 gta 350's(1 belongs to dad now), 1 91 gta 350(now my bros) and having been missing one dearly. I loved my ls1 cars for the power, but dont compare in looks... thanks..
